Pre-purchase counseling is the link to sustainable homeownership. This type of counseling helps clients become educated on the process of planning for and buying a home. If you are interested in buying a home now or in the future, Navicore Solutions can help you through the process. The program consists of an online element called Make Your Move, and an individual counseling session with a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor. Consumers will receive a certificate upon completion of the program. The pre-purchase curriculum covers financial management, evaluating credit information, prequalifying & loan approval, financing options, shopping for a home, finalizing the loan, the closing process, maintaining the home, avoiding foreclosure and predatory lending practices. Successful completion of the program may be used to qualify for applicable homeowners’ assistance programs. Pre-purchase counseling is ideally performed before the purchase contract is signed.
